From their friendship was born the idea of acquiring a vineyard...

The grape varieties

Facing south and at an altitude of 310 m, the Mas de la Doux vineyard allows for beautiful grape ripeness while maintaining freshness. The significant thermal gradient between the hottest time of day and the coldest time of night provides ideal conditions for producing fresh, age-worthy wines. These conditions explain the previous owner's planting of more northern grape varieties (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) in addition to Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Grenache Rouge, Syrah and Cinsault, which are the "classic" Languedoc grape varieties.
